[VIDEO] Our FAVORITE Speaking and Presenting #fails and #follows of 2022

Readers love our #fails.
So here’s our 2022 list.

Here’s what we loved and didn’t love in the speaking sphere of the last year.

Each year, Randy Ford and I have a year-end look back at our #fails (screw ups) and #follows (things we liked that we’re going to use in our own presentations.) Yes, we’re deep into 2023, but as Michael Scott once said, “A good idea never goes out of style.”

Or, in our world, fails and good speaking techniques never go out of style.

I’m happy to say that neither one of us committed any presenting faux pas this past year. We’re far from perfect, but really, we’ve had years where one of us belched during a conference presentation, and another one stood sweating next to a fountain of nacho cheese. (Links below.)

That said, 2022 was a train wreck of news, with plenty of good and bad speeches to learn from. (Spoiler alert: Can you say, “werewolves vs. vampires”?)

Enjoy our (closed-captioned) #fails and #follows, aka, What We Learned This Year.
